Picsolve’s Experience Wall lets guests rub shoulders with royalty

Picsolve, a leading digital content creator and distribution partner for visitor destinations, has announced the implementation of its patented Experience Wall at Madame Tussauds London in celebration of the Royal wedding. Guests will be able to mingle with Madame Tussauds’ newest royal additions, Meghan Markle, and her groom, Prince Harry.

The Experience Wall provides a seamless capture experience for visitors, allowing them to choose from a range of backdrops to capture moments with the couple, from cutting a wedding cake to relaxing on a private beach.

Standing at 15ft, the Experience Wall has replaced a traditional green screen backdrop with floor-to-ceiling HD screens. As the picture is taken the backdrop turns chroma green for a split second, allowing for the post-production touches to be applied.

The technology comes following Picsolve’s acquisition of Freeze Frame in September 2017. The Experience wall can also be found at other global attractions, including One World Observatory and National Geographic Encounter: Ocean Odyssey, both based in New York City.

The Experience Wall’s installation marks the next step in Picsolve’s developing product suite. When not being used to provide backdrops at content capture opportunities, the Experience Wall can also be utilised to display social media feeds or provide a unique backdrop to gigs.

“We are hugely excited to be launching the Experience Wall in Europe and believe there is no better couple than Harry and Meghan to help showcase the technology,” said David Hockley, CEO at Picsolve. “Madame Tussauds’ London is one of the most recognisable destinations in Europe and we believe this is the ideal opportunity for us to cement Picsolve’s position as the number one content creation partner for world class destinations.”
