Efteling has plans to convert its steam trains from coal to electric

To become carbon neutral by 2030 AND carbon positive by 2032, Dutch theme park ‘Efteling’ plans to transform its steam trains from coal to electric.

Working with ‘Alan Keef Ltd’, a UK based railway engineering company. The look of the steam trains will not change, but show effects (e.g steam) will be added to enhance these much-loved trains.
