Visitors were welcomed into worlds unknown at London Designer Outlet (LDO) at Wembley Park – the latest venue to welcome ImmotionVR.
Situated next to the world-famous Wembley Stadium, the fully immersive virtual reality (VR) experience centre utilises motion simulators, wrap-around sound and multi-direction movement. One minute they could be travelling around the globe with Santa’s elves making sure presents are delivered in time, the next they’re in space and trying to save civilisation.
The host of virtual worlds are open for adventurers of all kinds and ages (6+) to explore – from lending a hand to Santa in Elf Power Inc to underwater exploration with the Legend of Lusca to Delta Zero – a race to save humankind from impending doom.
Arek Antoniak, head of retail operations at ImmotionVR, said: “We’re excited to be opening in such a prestigious venue as LDO in Wembley Park. We’ll be offering families a unique type of experience, with cutting-edge VR that will be a great addition to the leisure park, creating new experiences where the possibilities are literally endless.
“From young to old, VR will take you to new worlds or provide a new twist on familiar tales. We’re expecting a busy first few weeks, so booking ahead of time is recommended. With a host of different experiences, we can guarantee you and your family the most intense and immersive illusion.”
Sue Shepherd, LDO’s centre manager said: “We’re delighted to welcome Immotion VR in good time for the Festive season and the upcoming school holidays. It adds a new dimension to LDO’s existing diverse range of retail, leisure and dining and is a fun and innovative way to experience the best in virtual reality.”
The Mayor of Brent, Counsellor Arshad Mahmood, who officially opened the new store said: “I think it’s a great experience, I really enjoyed having a go. It’s an amazing spot for the store, this part of the centre is always busy with shoppers. Plus, there isn’t anything like this locally, so it’s a nice new addition to the London Designer Outlet, a fresh alternative experience for people to try out and enjoy with their families. I’m certain my grandchildren will love it!”
