Creative Works boosts Make-A-Wish coffers

Firm raises $10,000 through Memory Makers campaign

Creative Works has raised more than $10,000 for the the Make-A-Wish Foundation through its Memory Makers campaign.

Since the beginning of November, the firm has been raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, to help deliver a memorable experience to a child facing a critical illness.

“The amount of support we’ve received in just a month’s time is truly astonishing,” said Creative Works president Armando Lanuti. “It’s our goal to create memorable experience and this campaign is another way for us to achieve that goal.”

On average, it costs around $10,000 for Make-A-Wish to grant a wish for a single child. The initial campaign was set to run from the beginning of November though the end of the 2017 IAAPA Expo with a goal of $10,000. Attendees that donated at Creative Work’s IAAPA booth had the opportunity to colour in a portion of a community mural dedicated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Along with the funds raised, the finished mural will be donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

After exceeding the initial fundraising goal, Creative Works will continue to accept donations through the end of 2017. At the time of writing, Creative Works has raised $10,704.57 of its $15,000 stretch goal. As it stands, Creative Works is the second highest individual donor in the Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana region.
