Rainbow Productions to make debut at InterFun Expo 2022

Rainbow Productions, a UK supplier of licensed children’s characters for appearances, will be exhibiting at InterFun Expo for the first time, taking place in New Dock Hall at the Royal Armouries Leeds on 26 & 27 April.

Head of UK sales, Chris Stanton will be representing the company alongside sales executive, Sarah Dennehy on stand 45. Chris will also be part of the 2022 seminar line-up, discussing the benefits that licensed character appearances and branded pop-up experiences bring to the leisure & retail industry.

“Originally planned for 2020, we are thrilled to finally be showcasing our services at InterFun Expo.” Comments Stanton. “Firm favourites Hey Duggee, PAW Patrol and Peppa Pig have been joined by a host of new licensed characters including Baby Shark, Bluey, JJ from CoComelon and Jon & Blitz from Dino Ranch, who are sure to be a hit and will help venues offer the ultimate family day out experience.”

Rainbow Productions currently have over 130 famous faces available to book for personal appearances.  From creating unforgettable family days out, to boosting online engagement across social media platforms, character-led events add value to and enhance the visitor experience, especially for younger guests.

Rainbow Productions are also preparing to return to DEAL 2022 in Dubai, taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 28 – 30 March, and will once again be represented by Managing Director, Simon Foulkes and Export Manager, James Barlow on stand 7-D20.

As one of the World’s leading manufacturers of costume characters and mascots, this is an exciting opportunity for the UK firm to showcase their new innovative manufacturing methods and fabrics.

During lockdown, the mascot specialist invested in staff training and acquired new innovative methods of rotational moulding and digital manufacturing technology.  James explains, “Up until now we have predominantly produced lightweight structured foam heads, but the addition of this technology will now give clients the option of lightweight solid resin heads.”

Along with new fabrics which are also now available to clients, these investments provide Rainbow with a long-term global competitive edge and allows them to remain at the forefront of worldwide costume character manufacture.

Rainbow Productions are already well-established in the Middle East, having had the honour to work with many of the region’s theme parks including Ferrari World, Global Village, IMG World of Adventures and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi.  Most recently they have created mascots for all sixteen clubs in the Saudi Professional Football League.
