Little Lion Entertainment, in collaboration with Bandai Namco Entertainment, has unveiled the PAC-MAN Live Experience in the United Kingdom, heralding a novel approach to location-based entertainment. This partnership seeks to combine the nostalgia associated with the classic PAC-MAN video game and advanced augmented reality (AR) technology, providing players with an exceptional opportunity to immerse themselves in the universe of this cherished arcade franchise.

In this innovative attraction, participants, referred to as “PAC-People,” will traverse a series of AR-enhanced mazes to gather traditional elements such as “power pellets” and fruit while avoiding the iconic ghosts. The experience integrates real-world movement with digital imagery, crafting an interactive setting that reflects the classic game while introducing new challenges. This initiative leverages Little Lion Entertainment’s proficiency in developing fully immersive environments, further augmented by Bandai Namco’s extensive knowledge of the PAC-MAN franchise.

A primary objective of this new attraction is to ensure accessibility for a diverse age demographic, ranging from children to older adults, thereby guaranteeing widespread appeal. With gameplay designed for individuals aged eight to 80, the attraction is expected to attract families, groups, and corporate clients in search of engaging, team-oriented activities.

The experience features multiple mazes with up to 12 distinct levels, including a new bonus game aimed at providing varied challenges. This organized structure ensures that participants of all skill levels can enjoy navigating through PAC-MAN’s digital realm. The integration of AR with familiar gameplay elements offers a fresh method of engaging with the classic game, transforming ordinary locations into interactive playgrounds.

While the initial launch of the PAC-MAN Live Experience will concentrate on select cities in the UK, there are intentions for a wider international rollout contingent upon market demand.
