Heber to unveil new Pluto gaming controllers at ICE Totally Gaming 2015

Heber, the leading independent suppliers of gaming controllers, today revealed details of two new additions to its Pluto range of controllers, both of which will be launched at ICE Totally Gaming 2015.

The Pluto A100, an all-in-one PC-based electronic gaming machine controller, uses the latest AMD Embedded “Steppe Eagle” G-Series technology and PCI gaming I/O. This low power fanless solution provides a highly reliable and integrated solution targeted at customers in the casino, bingo and street gaming markets.

The Pluto T100 is a fanless Mini-ITX platform based on the same AMD Embedded G-Series “Steppe Eagle” technology as the Pluto A100, and has been designed to complement the very popular Heber X10i USB peripheral, which provides a range of gaming I/O ports and interfaces via a simple USB connection. The Pluto T100 is targeted at the video lottery terminal, bingo, and street gaming markets.

Both controllers have a 7 year supply guarantee, and provide superior graphics performance, enabling game developers to produce visually stunning games at a price/performance point that will make them highly attractive to manufacturers.

Heber will also be demonstrating a new through-glass switching technology, allowing players to interact with games in a new and revolutionary way.

Les Ashton-Smith, managing director of Heber, said: “We’ve now been a major player in the gaming and amusements market for over thirty years, supplying over 750,000 Pluto gaming controllers. These new products take our capabilities to a new level and will enable both developers and manufacturers alike to usher in a new generation of high-performance gaming systems at an unbeatable price point. We look forward to showing our customers what the new Pluto controllers can really do at ICE.”
