Bay Tek contributes to production of face masks

Companies from Appleton, USA are putting their normal operations aside to come together to help provide the need for medical face shields.

As coronavirus concerns started to spread, Luxemburg’s Tom Rueckl has been using his 3D printers to make parts for the medical face shields. He says about 1,200 people across the country have been doing the same thing.

“Within that group I found out that people were really having a hard time securing the plastic that we use to print these things,” said Rueckl.

Rueckl contacted provider of 3D printing materials, Coex, one of the nation’s only producers of 3D filament, in order to secure a reliable supply.

Bay Tek Entertainment is providing Coex with the plastic for its shields.
