Bay Tek Entertainment launches Willy Crash “Mini,” a smaller version of the popular redemption game that features an unlucky stuntman.
The smaller version allows players the same gameplay experience of the original Willy Crash, just with a smaller cabinet and a 32” screen. Willy Crash “Mini” is over one-and-a-half feet less wide, 10 inches less deep, and almost one foot shorter than the original version. The software and the even the plunger are the same; maintaining the same player experience but allowing it to fit into even more locations!
Players detonate the TNT plunger to launch Willy Crash into a 3D cityscape, aiming for the tops of buildings to score big and watch Willy boogie down in a lively bonus celebration! If they miss he will hilariously crash into a number of cringe-worthy, interactive obstacles.
“We wanted to maintain the same ‘fun and funny’ player experience provided by Willy Crash, just with a smaller footprint – and we were successful in striking that balance. Our goal was to give locations with less floor space the ability to have these popular titles in their game rooms,” said Sammy Harrison, marketing manager at Bay Tek.
The Willy Crash cabinet incorporates a novelty light up cannon that is synchronized to game play, and a plunger that simulates a TNT box. Its smaller footprint and addressable motion LEDs will draw a crowd in any size game room. Listen for comedic sounds as Willy crashes and booms his way through the virtual city. And keep an eye out for spoofs on classic Bay Tek titles on the 32” HD display.
The app version of the game is similar to the arcade version, with some added features. Instead of tickets, you earn coins depending on the accuracy of your aim. Cash in your coins for unique outfits for Willy that increase stamina and keep him safer, longer. Choose from themes that make Willy look like a roughed-up royal, a crushed caveman, or a bruised biker. If the doctor tells him the he needs to rest, cash in your Stunt Bucks for medicine to get Willy back in the cannon faster!
