Nantucket style beach house and restaurant, Voltaire Beach House, is planning to add a classic bowling alley to Ocean Beach.
Located at 4934 Voltaire Street, the four-lane bowling alley, restaurant and bar is the brain-child of restaurateurs David Schiffman, George Somers and Mark Huber who are known for spear-heading various San Diego hotspots such as Florent Restaurant & Lounge, Double Deuce, Whiskey Girl, The Horn and The Rabbit Hole.
The bowling alley will be open daily to the general public and available for private events and parties. The existing space, attached to sister venue Voltaire Beach House, will be expanded with a build out to encompass the bowling alley, additional seating and bar area, and the Voltaire beach House design will flow through in the expanded space with boardwalk style hardwood floor, a fire pit incorporated into a large bar, trees within the covered patio, a raised level for fun interactive party games and signature swings.
