Soft play area in the works at Lewisham

The Glass Mill leisure centre has plans to convert an under-used foyer space into a new soft play centre.  The facility will contain a variety of heights, sections, and activities inside for children, and be housed behind a sound proofed glass and solid wall.

The plans are the result of a number of suggestions taken from customer feedback forms, and was approved at a meeting of the Lewisham cabinet in February.

Parents will also be able to visit the nearby café, which the children can access via a hatch.

The soft play area will be open to children between the ages of 0 to 8.
