Simworx, a world leader in the design, manufacture and development of dynamic motion-basedmedia attractions, has opened its newest attraction, Helios Experience, at Portlantis at the Port of Rotterdam

This ride takes guests through a thrilling show exploring the harbour from land, sea and sky.

Simworx has contributed its iconic 4D Cinema with 3DOF motion base’s, and exciting added features including airplane style harnesses and an array of special effects such as wind and water misters.

In this attraction, visitors meet Helios Concepts, one of the most innovative companies in the Port of Rotterdam. They are invited in by the Head of Design & Development to peek into their high-tech hub and state-of-the-art workshop, where the world’s best engineers work on the transportation concepts of the future.

Guests will get an exclusive preview of the latest designs that will revolutionise ways in which they will transport containers, liquid cargo and goods through the port – before embarking on the ride of a lifetime.

Portlantis aim to attract 150,000 visitors each year. It can be visited in combination with a boat trip or a bus tour of Maasvlakte.
