Salt Lake City couple open new arcade bar

The first of its kind in Utah, the new Quarters Arcade Bar will move into the 7,000 square-foot space previously occupied by Club Manhattan.

“The arcade bar concept is a national trend that we are excited to bring to the market while breathing new life into a historic bar space,” said Michael Eccleston, who opened the bar alongside partner Katy Willis. “Our downtown location has the demographic and amenities we were looking for – young, hip residents, steps away from the courthouse Trax stop and at the center of the bar, nightlife and entertainment scene.”

Along with amusements and games, tournaments, and private events, Quarters Arcade will bring 25 new jobs and $300,000 of investment. Guests will also be able to enjoy pinball machines, a board game library, and arcade games with titles including Space Invaders, Mortal Kombat, and X-Men.

The Quarters Arcade Bar will open its doors in Salt Lake City on Thursday at 4:00pm.
