Playnation secures Pontin’s contract

Playnation, the UK’s leading business in the family entertainment machine sector, has secured a new contract with Pontin’s. The British holiday resort business has awarded Playnation the contract to maintain, service and support over 900 amusement machines across its six UK parks.

This latest contract win for Playnation expands its growing national service only offer.  Playnation prides itself on a truly national service infrastructure underpinned by a robust service control centre based at Playnation’s headquarters in Runcorn, and a field team of over 150 experienced colleagues, all equipped with the latest technology.

Ryan CollingeRyan Collinge, Sales Director at Playnation (pictured left), said: “We are extremely pleased to have come to an agreement with Pontin’s and are very excited to get things going.  As a business we offer machines and services to the leisure sector across the UK and this deal brings the number of machines under our management and support to over 20,000.”

Mark Chapman, Chief Operating Officer at Playnation said “We work closely with our clients to provide a unique and bespoke level of service. As an operator ourselves, we understand the importance of maximising machine uptime and work hard to ensure our business customers are able to provide a first rate offer to their end customer.”

Playnation was established in 2013 following a management buyout backed by Palatine Private Equity. The company is a market leader for family entertainment centres and currently operates machines in over 1,500 locations within holiday parks, bowling alleys, airports, and motorway service stations, including Bunn Leisure, Haven, Darwin Leisure, Tenpin, Whitbread, and Pets at Home.
