Paultons Park’s to open £12 million Viking-themed world, Valgard next week

In just over a week, Paultons Park will open its largest themed world to date, Valgard: Realm of the Vikings.

To celebrate International Viking Day today (May 8), the attraction has shared new images of the space, revealing the attention to detail and theming that brings the immersive experience to life.

The new Viking-themed world, which opens on Saturday, May 16.

Park tickets for Valgard’s opening day are still available via the Paultons Park website.

Valgard features Paultons Park’s first inverting coaster, Drakon, a brand-new Vild Swing that swirls riders 12 metres in the air, and Cobra, a famous favourite ride at Paultons Park, reborn as Raven.

To complete the Valgard experience, Paultons Park has also created a highly themed Feasting Hall restaurant and new Viking-inspired playground for younger visitors to enjoy.
