New York LEGO Factory Adventure ride preview

Oct 16, 2020 | America, Industry News

New York LEGO Factory Adventure ride preview
Newb-roll footage has just been released demonstrating the cutting-edge trackless ride technology that will appear in the Lego Factory Adventure ride at the forthcoming Legoland New York Resort, which officially opens in 2021.
The highly-anticipated ride, led by the whimsical and eccentric Professor Brick, celebrates the beloved Lego Brick. Shrinking guests down to ‘Minifigure’ size, the ride offers a “brick’s eye view” of the creation process of a Lego Brick. At the culmination of the journey, lucky riders can be transformed into Lego Minifigure versions of themselves (1:01 in video footage). The first of its kind dark ride experience takes place entirely indoors using video interactions with sensory-enhanced stops along the way.
Opening in 2021 as the first major theme park to grace the Northeast in over four decades, Legoland New York is located just outside NYC in New York’s Hudson Valley. A multi-day destination for families with children ages two through 12, the theme park features seven different themed lands and over 50 rides, shows and attractions. The new theme park will also offer never-before-seen rides and experiences, including the global debut of the Lego Factory Adventure Ride. Construction is also underway for the Legoland Hotel, the first and only Lego-themed hotel in the northeast.
