New FEC opening in London (no, not that one)

London, Ontario getting new entertainment centre called The Factory

The other London, the one in Ontario, Canada, is getting a new family entertainment centre, built on the site of an old Kelloggs factory.

The site is being refitted as an indoor adventure park called The Factory, featuring North America’s largest indoor ropes course, a trampoline park, electric go-karts, mini-golf, escape rooms, axe-throwing, an arcade and a toddler soft play area. It is due to open in February of next year.

It is part of a multi-year plan by Tillsonburg-based E&E McLaughlin to redevelop the 93,000 square metres of building space, now renamed 100 Kellogg, for a variety of uses, including office, warehouse, light industrial, recreation and retail.

The Factory’s ropes course will have two 23-metre towers connected by a zip line with almost 100 obstacles in between, geared to different skill levels.

The trampoline park will have rotating arms and battle beams to challenge the participants.
