New adult-oriented bowling centre coming to Westfield

All Star Lanes is opening as part of a £600m expansion of shopping centre

All Star Lanes is opening a boutique bowling venue as part of Westfield shopping centre’s extension in 2018.

The bowling centre will include 10 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, two Art Deco cocktail lounges, a private event room, private karaoke rooms and a heated outdoor terrace. It is part of a £600 million expansion of the Shepherd’s Bush shopping centre.

All Star, which has branches elsewhere in London including Bayswater, says it will use the site as a template for other branches across the UK it plans to open.

Christian Rose, All Star Lanes managing director, said: “The stunning Westfield London venue represents a new chapter for All Star Lanes and will act as the benchmark for several more across the UK before 2020. With the space in Westfield London’s new expansion, we’ve been able to engrain the quirky and premium nature of the brand in the design and build like never before.

“We couldn’t be more excited for people to experience the new location for themselves.”

The bowling boutique is expected to open in March, along with the massive Westfield expansion, which will make it the largest retail, dining and leisure destination in Europe.

Keith Mabbett, director of leasing at Westfield UK and Europe said: “We’re thrilled to reveal that All Star Lanes will be pioneering the first of its new-generation venues at Westfield London.

“Our focus in developing the centre which currently sees 28m visitors each year, has been on providing enhanced experiences in state-of-the-art surroundings that showcase the very best in leisure, dining, fashion and entertainment.

“All Star Lanes’ new concept will prove to be hugely popular with visitors to this new destination for West London,” he added.
