Industry stalwart Linda Malcolm is leaving bacta to pursue other interests.
Bacta CEO John White commented, “Linda has contributed 20 years of dedicated and loyal service to bacta and its members. She has always been a well-respected key member of the bacta team but now will take a break and explore new horizons.
He continued: “Linda has become an integral part of the bacta family; ever present at the many bacta events she organised and providing unstinting support to a succession of Chief Executives and Presidents. She was always happy to help members with their questions or enquiries whenever they had cause to telephone the office.”
James Miller, president of bacta, said: “I would like to join John and other bacta members in thanking Linda wholeheartedly both publicly and at a personal level for her remarkable contribution to bacta and the industry over these many years. She intends to stay in touch and we hope to be able to organise a suitable farewell event for her in the future when life returns to something more akin to normality.”
Linda Malcolm commented: “I shall miss bacta and the members immensely. I have had some wonderful times over the past 20 years and have made some great friends. I would like to thank those who have been in touch and sent their best wishes.”
