Katapult collaborates with Merlin and Lego Group for interactive experience

Themed attraction designers Katapult has unveiled a new experience at 11 Legoland Discovery Centres celebrating Lego Dots.

Working collaboratively with The Lego Group and Merlin Entertainments, Katapult designed and produced an engaging experience that captures the crafty and expressive nature of Dots – featuring a Dots cart, campervan, spinning festival letters, decoration and activities.

The Dots Festival, which is live across North America, Europe and Asia, has become an engaging event with Lego Dots workshops, hands-on play and creativity.

Speaking on the activation, The Lego Group’s Martin Weber Thomsen, said: “Katapult has done a great job developing and delivering this new exciting Lego Dots Festival experience, which will allow families and most importantly kids the creative freedom to highlight their own self-expression at Legoland Discovery Centres.”

Dawn Foote, CEO and Co-Founder of Katapult, said: “We were delighted to work alongside The Lego Group & Merlin Entertainments to deliver this new Dots experience. Our team has worked incredibly hard to design and deliver an activation that embodied the Dots play experience – we have loved hearing the feedback from guests and from the Lego Discovery Centre sites.”
