Intercard, a world leader in debit card technology for the amusement and attraction industries, has completed an installation for the Balaxi Group of Companies at its first Glowzone Family Challenge Center in Houston, Texas. It is the first of four franchised Glowzone FCCs that Balaxi will open in the U.S. in 2018, and all will be equipped with Intercard systems.
Glowzone offers challenge areans where families can take part in laser tag, mini golf, rock climbing, ninja courses, and more with glow-in-the-dark twist. There are also themed party rooms for video gaming and bazooka ball, and an arcade boast more than 40 games.
The Intercard controls every aspect of management including card sales, redemption and service. The system has 65 card readers and is fully integrated with the center’s CenterEdge POS system.
Intercard will install similar systems for Balaxi Group this fall at its upcoming Glowzone locations in Chicago, Dallas and Washington, D.C. Rudraraju says the company will open an additional five Glowzone locations across the country in 2019.
