Innovative Technology showcases new tech at ExCeL

New note detector debuted

Innovative Technology showcased its latest innovation, giving customers a first glimpse of the NV9 Spectral advanced note validator at the ICE Show at ExCeL, London.

The NV9 Spectral is a highly secure banknote validator, offering casino level security at a mid-range price for entertainment centres. State of the art spectral sensors provide high resolution imaging, scanning 1.28 million data points, imaging the full banknote to authenticate its validity – giving genuine note detection and protection against fraudulent notes.

Commenting on the product, sales director, Marcus Tiedt, said: “We are delighted to be able to showcase the NV9 Spectral on the first day of ICE and give our customers an insight into this exciting next generation product. The NV9 Spectral boasts a faster note to note processing speed ensuring operator profitability. Optical and mechanical anti-strimming technology delivers outstanding fraud protection, alongside extra security features including stained note detection.

“Showcasing the NV9 Spectral at ICE is a great opportunity to get important customer feedback to add to our field trials, ensuring we produce a product that exceeds customer requirements when it is available for general release during the Summer.”

The validator can be mounted horizontally or vertically with cashbox and bezel options to suit all applications and a micro SD data for data logging. Its modular design means that a note recycler or ticket printer can easily be added.
