Riddlr adds new escape room

New centre opens in Bristol

Escape room firm Riddlr has just launched in Bristol, opening a new attraction with three escape rooms, each with different themes.

Prison state is the ‘easiest’ of the three rooms, with a difficulty rating of three out of five. “The year is 202, and your gang has been caught performing the largest jewellery heist in recent years. You have been imprisoned in the Bristol Bullpen, the most secure prison ever built in the UK. You and your fellow prisoners will be handcuffed together in a pitch-black, barren cell.”

The remaining two rooms at Riddlr are both rated as four out of five for difficulty, making escaping slightly more challenging, but not impossible. The Brunel Enigma will see players try and solve the mysterious disappearance of Bristol’s best-known engineer. “The year is 1842. Your friend and colleague Isambard Kingdom Brunel has sent for you by telegram. When you arrive at his office, he is missing and all is not as it seems. Fearing for his life, and with a limited time, you must work through the clues he has left, to find out what has happened and hopefully regain contact with your friend.”

The third and final room is the Zombie Apocalypse room. Scientists at a secret research facility lost contact with Doctor Veronika Ivanov and her research team. “Your specialist group of operatives has been drafted in to secure the site and find out what happened to Ivanov. You must be careful. The top secret research here was focussed on specific genetic mutations and it is possible that the site may be contaminated.”

Riddlr, which opened in late October, is planning to switch games every 12 months so that people will always have a new challenge to try.
