Firm plans to open several new centres annually over next few years

Parques Reunidos, has partnered with US film and television production and distribution company Lionsgate, and plans to open an indoor leisure centre at the Príncipe Pío station, in Madrid.

It will feature attractions for young people and adults based on films such as The Hunger Games and TV series like Mad Men.

The centre, dubbed Lionsgate Entertainment City, is scheduled to open in early 2020, a few months after the opening of another in Times Square, New York, next year.

Fernando Eiroa, CEO of Parques Reunidos, has announced that they plan to open five or six similar centres every year in the coming years.

“It is the future of Parques Reunidos, where we are going and where we want to grow,” said Eiroa.
