New Innovative Technology TITO printer

RP-80 aims at improving speed and reducing waste

ITL has launched a new high performance 80mm roll ticket printer, the RP-80, aimed at reducing ticket wastage and improving printing performance.

It can be fitted into existing applications due to its flexible mounting options, and its fast print to present speed, large roll ticket capacity and customised ticket design makes it a versatile and user-friendly ticketing product.

The significant rise in TITO (Ticket-In Ticket-Out) technology in the amusements industry over the past few years, has seen ITL respond by developing TITO-enabled products and now has a choice of standalone coupon printers and combined note validator and ticketing solutions available.

Chris Robinson, ITL Director said: “The RP-80 was designed in conjunction with the industry and customer feedback so we are delighted to bring this product to market. It’s unique print mechanism ensures tickets are fully printed inside the machine before they are released, eliminating ticket jams. It comes with flexible mounting options making it easy to retrofit into host machines and offers downloadable updates over USB making remote updates quick and easy.

“The unit’s high-quality Seiko print mechanism is field proven and gives the product outstanding print speed whilst maximising machine up-time. A 2MB flash memory and SD card expansion offers customers unlimited fonts and our free, user-friendly ticket template manager allows customers to customise their own tickets with any bespoke design.”

ITL will be showcasing the RP-80 at EAG & ICE at the start of 2018.”
