Funtazmo, Oman’s largest indoor family entertainment amusement park, at Oman Avenues Mall in Bausher has debuted a new coaster.
With a length of 274m and a maximum speed of 9.5m per second (nearly 35km per hour), the Roller Coaster can complete one cycle per minute, seating 16 people (four cars with four people each), it will entertain up to 500-600 passengers per hour. The ride includes number of inversions, two airtime hills and plenty of drops and 180 degree turns and twists.
“When we brought Funtazmo to Oman, we gave the sultanate its largest family entertainment centre, so with the introduction of the country’s largest indoor family Roller Coaster, we have a high standard to live up to. Funtazmo has almost everything required to entertain the young and the young at heart, which is why we conceptualised the place keeping family entertainment in mind. The ambition of installing a Roller Coaster in Funtazmo is also a step in the same direction, and our endeavour to ensure our patrons are provided with two minutes of pure, exhilarating fun,” said Emad Eldin Rezk Ahmed Taleb, chairman, Abu Taleb Investments, local partner of Funtazmo.
Funtazmo has over 250 rides and games, with an indoor playground on the first floor catering to kids in the aged 6 months-12 years and the new Roller Coaster located on the second floor.
