IGT and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa launch Spin Ferno Tournament Solution
International Game Technology and Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa have announced the launch of IGT’s Spin Ferno spinning reel tournament system solution. With the Spin Ferno tournament system solution, Seminole Hard Rock Tampa guests can be the first to enjoy high-energy, automated slot tournaments on IGT’s, award-winning S3000 spinning reel cabinet.
The Spin Ferno tournament solution is fuelled by IGT’s system solution, Tournament Manager 5.0. The turnkey system solution empowers operators to host single or multi-site tournaments on the S3000 cabinet. Spin Ferno is the gaming industry’s first automated tournament product for a mechanical reel cabinet and joins IGT’s family of other tournament systems solutions.
“We are thrilled to bring Spin Ferno to market with our partners at Seminole Hard Rock Tampa,” said Nick Khin, IGT Senior Vice President of Sales, North America Gaming & Interactive. “Spin Ferno extends the capabilities of our globally successful S3000 cabinet and exemplifies IGT’s leadership in pairing game and systems innovation to create premium player experiences.”
“It’s an honor to be the first casino to have the Spin Ferno technology launch at our property this month. We first saw the innovative entertainment experience in play at the Global Gaming Expo last year in Las Vegas and felt the game would be a great fit for Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa,” said Dan Ingster, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa VP of Slot Operations. “The technology, game play and tournament flexibility were all key factors when deciding on launching the system.”
Seminole Hard Rock Tampa deployed the Spin Ferno tournament solution on 26 S3000 cabinets. When these slot machines are not utilized for slot tournament play, Property patrons can enjoy S3000 titles Hotsy Totsy and Red Hot Lil’ Devil games in coin-in, two-cent denomination mode. Seminole Hard Rock Tampa’s Spin Ferno area is located near the Property’s Wonderwall, in front of Council Oak Steaks & Seafood.
