Madame Tussauds London has announced that multi-award-winning actor, Gillian Anderson OBE, will join its star-studded lineup with her first-ever figure, set to be unveiled later this year.

Behind-the-scenes footage shows highly skilled artists working closely with the Hollywood A-Lister. The team captured hundreds of precise measurements and reference photographs, ensuring a likeness is recreated with pain-staking accuracy.

The announcement coincides with the release of several highly anticipated 2025 projects for Ms Anderson, including lead roles in the newly released Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures’ ‘Tron: Ares’, Channel 4 drama ‘Trespasses’, and Netflix’s upcoming American Western ‘The Abandons’, scheduled for release in December.

Steve Blackburn, general manager of Madame Tussauds London, said: “Gillian epitomises the modern-day icon – celebrated on stage, screen, and red carpets worldwide, it was about time we create her first-ever figure!

“We are honoured to be working with Gillian herself to ensure we’re capturing an exact likeness and to have her collaboration and input throughout. Our team has been hard at work to ensure her glamorous style is perfectly replicated in her figure, and we can’t wait for fans to see which iconic look we’ve decided – together with Gillian – to dress the figure in.”
