FAMILY PARKS: Van Egdom inks German Center Parcs deal

Dutch specialist ​Van Egdom, has signed a deal to supply a new treehouse family water attraction to Center Parcs, Allgau Germany.

Th firm will design, manufacture and install the family water attraction into what will be Center Parcs’s flagship holiday village in Germany.

Set to be the family focal point of Center Parcs famous “Aqua Mondo” the bespoke themed ” Tree House Water Playground” will be loaded, with fun slides, slide tubes, sprayers, water guns and over 19 soft hand wheel water valves together with numerous hidden surprise sprayers in the railings and a themed platform. It will also boast twin giant tipping buckets.

Simon Van Dijk, Van Egdom commercial director, commented: “This is a tremendous honour for Van Egdom and an exciting proposition to create a truly world class water attraction for them. We will be making sure every element and phase of design, manufacture and installation is delivered efficiently, to quality and on time. This attraction is set to be the most exciting Dutch engineered family water play attraction to be delivered for Center Parcs and the European leisure market to date”. The attraction is due for completion in 2018.
