Since its launch in 2010, EAG has become the definitive annual event for amusement and coin-op industry professionals from the UK, Europe and beyond. Convenient timing and a world-class location have played their parts in the show’s success but the real driving force has been the support of exhibitors and visitors who have made the show their own.
Show Organiser Karen Cooke explains: “From the outset BACTA wanted to ensure EAG was ‘a show for the industry by the industry’ and this has differentiated it from other events. We spend a great deal of time listening to the wishes and suggestions of exhibitors, visitors and others from within the industry. This activity takes place within structured working groups and on an informal basis, underpinning everything we do.
“As a direct result of such feedback we have made some changes and improvements to the 2016 show, affecting both opening times and the traditional show party,” continued Karen.
The new show opening times are:
Tuesday 12th January 10.00 am – 6.00 pm
Wednesday 13th January 10.00 am – 6.00 pm
Thursday 14th January 10.00 am – 4.00 pm
The traditional after-show event held at ‘Fox@ ExCel’ will now take place on Wednesday 13th January, starting at 6.00 pm.
Moving the event to the Wednesday evening is expected to enhance the networking opportunity and provide some welcome R&R, with guests enjoying drinks and canapés after a full two days of business.
