Creative Works’ Lucky Putt wins award for Best New Product

Last week at the IAAPA Expo show in Orlando, Creative Works’ Lucky Putt attraction won the IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Best New Product in the Patron Participation Ride/Attraction category.

The Best New Product Awards are presented annually at the show, and recognise the innovations from vendors across the amusement industry.

Lucky Putt is the gamified, tech-driven, and social mini golf attraction that Creative Works has been working hard to develop over the last few years. It reimagines classic mini golf for interactive, challenge-based play.

Lucky Putt uses software to automatically track scores. Players no longer have to use pencils and paper to keep track. This allows players to focus on the social experience, rather than keeping score.

“We’re extremely grateful for this honour,” commented Danny Gruening, Creative Works’ vice president of marketing. “Our team has spent years developing an attraction to bring mini golf into the future, and Lucky Putt is a culmination of all that hard work.”

Creative Works was officially notified of the award and given the plaque on Tuesday, the first day of the IAAPA Expo show.

The Best New Product award was part of a very successful IAAPA show for Creative Works. The attractions provider debuted several new VR products at the show, including their groundbreaking VR laser tag attraction, Limitless VR. Creative Works also introduced FURY VR, an unattended, 2-player arcade attraction designed to deliver high throughput in a small footprint. Throughout the week, the Creative Works booth was packed with attendees who were able to try out Creative Works new and existing products.
