At IAAPA Expo in Barcelona, BoldMove Nation announced the new media dark ride in the Norwegian Hunderfossen Family Park, featuring its new Rogue Rides trackless vehicles. Together with media partner Qvisten Animation, a renown Oslo-based animation studio, they now reveal the theme of this exciting new dark ride that is slated to open in May 2026.
The new Rally Flåklypa media dark ride is being fitted into an existing building at Hunderfossen for visitors to relive the race of the movie together with the characters.
Alongside the media, a combination of technologies like sound and projection are used to immerse the participants into the universe of Reodor Felgen and his friends.
The media scenes are precisely synchronised with the movements of the vehicle, making guests feel like they are truly part of the race. The new dark ride complements the current park area around this IP with the existing Il Tempo Extra Gigante rollercoaster and the THEA awarded Flåklypa 5D-cinema.
The design team of BoldMove and Qvisten work hand in hand to translate the magic of the IP into an experience that merges physical and digital worlds.

BoldMove delivers the ride system and trajectories, as well as AV technologies and theming design. A fully immersive experience is powered by the new Kamino show control system, which integrates next-generation imaging and management technology, special effects, and a combined onboard and landside sound system.
Qvisten develops all media content for the ride and preshow to guide visitors up to the actual race. This is based on the storyline and the third movie they produced based on this famous IP, which emerges from the extraordinary world of author Kjell Aukrust.
