Bandai Namco launches indoor amusement park in Mumbai

Bandai Namco India has launched its second Mumbai-based family entertainment centre at Seawoods Grand Central Mall, Navi Mumbai. At 28,782 sq ft, Namco Seawoods Grand Central is reportedly the biggest indoor amusement park in the Mumbai region.

With the centre, Bandai Namco India aims to provide a number of safe, high-quality play zones designed for the whole family.

Speaking on the occasion, Shuichi Kikuchi, president and CEO at Bandai Namco India, said: “Mumbai is a vast market where customers look for sophisticated Indoor Amusement Parks that can give them novelty and engagement. A complete family experience for adults, youngsters and children alike is very satisfying for a family to visit. We are very pleased to open our large 28,782sqft Indoor Amusement Park at Seawoods Grand Central, Airspace and look forward to opening many such centres in other Indian cities in the near future”.

Takeo Yagi, director and COO at Bandai Namco India, added: “Mumbai welcomed us with open arms in Oct 2015 when we opened our first centre. We envisaged a much bigger & state-of-the Indoor Amusement Park for our second centre. The strategically located Seawoods Grand Central was the perfect choice due to its accessibility and popularity among residents around Navi Mumbai. The centre has amusement game machines, joy-rides, go-kart, carnival games for kids and special attractions for teens & above include digital squash, trampolines, basketball, bowling, ninja course and VR driving.”
